WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
Microblading is a form of cosmetic tattooing performed with a very fine blade to create one individual hair-like stroke at a time, giving the illusion of more full and fluffy brows. Each client will receive a customized map out of the shape and hair stroke pattern to be approved before the procedure begins. Color is decided on together with the client either to match existing hair color or desired hair color. After the initial session you will need to come back 6-12 weeks later for a touch-up to address any patchy spots that may have faded during the healing process and to have an opportunity to make any necessary adjustments in shape or color. This is the perfect solution for those with a decent amount of brow hair and tight firm skin. This is not the best option for clients with mature skin or very oily skin.This touch-up is NOT included in the price of the initial session.

IS MICROBLADING PAINFUL?
Prescription strength topical Lidocaine numbing cream is applied before the procedure and is typically very effective. A secondary numbing agent is also used throughout the procedure to ensure maximum comfort. After the appointment the eyebrow area may have slight redness or feel like a mild sunburn. Most clients report very little discomfort.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Microblading typically lasts 1-3 years depending on skin type, activity level, lifestyle, sun exposure, and skin care routine. Fading is normal and can be caused by oiliness, sun exposure, hormonal changes, medications, medical conditions, smoking, sweating, strong skin care products/chemicals etc., that is why some clients fade more quickly than others and why how long they last will vary from client to client. Following the initial session a touch-up is required 6-12 weeks later. This touch up is NOT included in the price of the initial visit. After your initial touch-up I typically recommend waiting 2-3 years before touching up again to avoid over saturating the skin with pigment and looking HARSH. If you are unsure if you are ready for a touch up you may send photos for proper recommendation.

WHO IS NOT A CANDIDATE FOR BROW SERVICES?
The following indications are not suitable for Eyebrow Services-
-Allergic to Lidocaine, Prilocaine, Benzocaine, Tetracaine, or Epinephrine
-Heart conditions or using heart medication
-Skin disease or irritations in the Brow Area
-Taking Blood Thinning Medications
-Have had Botox in the last 10 days
-Using Accutane in the past year
-Chemical peels in the last 4 weeks
-Have diabetes (required physicians note)
-Currently undergoing chemo-therapy
-Problems healing
-Anyone with serious medical conditions will require a physicians note
-Pregnant or Nursing
-Trichotillomania
-Currently Undergoing Fertility Treatments

WHICH TECHNIQUE IS RIGHT FOR ME, MICROBLADING, BLADE & SHADE OR POWDER BROWS?
It doesn’t really matter which service you book… when you come to your appointment we always review all possible options and discuss the pros and cons of each to make the best decision specifically catered to you and your brows. All brow services are the same price to be sure you are getting the proper service best suited to give you the very best results. If you would like to chat about your brows before you book an appointment you can send photos and do something like a “virtual consult” via Email or Instagram/Facebook DM.

Is there a deposit?
I do not require a deposit to book the appointment. You are required to put a card on file when you book. This is for NO-SHOW Protection, meaning if you fail to give 72 hour notice if cancellation you will be charged a cancellation fee. Full payment is due on the day of your appointment.

How can I book a touch up?
We will book your 6 week touch up when you come to your initial appointment. If additional touch ups are needed in the future please reach out via email or fb/Insta DM and we will get you booked.
